Guido van Rossum is a Dutch programmer best known as the author of the Python programming language, for which he is the "Benevolent Dictator For Life" , which means he continues to oversee Python development, making decisions when necessary. From 2005 to December 2012, he worked at Google, where he spent half of his time developing the Python language. In January 2013, he started working for Dropbox.

At Google, he founded Google X and Google's self driving car team. He is currently also an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University and at Georgia Tech.
Ellen Renee Stofan was the Chief Scientist of NASA and served as principal advisor to NASA Administrator Charles Bolden on the agency’s science programs, planning and investments. She resigned from NASA in December 2016.
