Daniel Gilbert is an American businessman and founder of Quicken Loans and Rock Ventures. Gilbert owns several sports franchises, including the National Basketball Association's Cleveland Cavaliers, the American Hockey League's Cleveland Monsters, the Arena Football League's Cleveland Gladiators, and the NBA G League's Canton Charge. He operates the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, home to the Cavaliers, Monsters, and Gladiators.
Barbara Ann Mikulski is an American politician who served as a United States Senator from Maryland from 1987 to 2017. In January 2017, Mikulski joined Johns Hopkins University as a professor of public policy and adviser to university President Ronald J. Daniels. A member of the Democratic Party, she also served in the United States House of Representatives from 1977 to 1987. She is the longest-serving woman in the history of the United States Congress and is the longest-serving senator in Maryland history.
