Salma Hayek Pinault , is a Mexican and American film actress, producer, and former model. She began her career in Mexico starring in the telenovela Teresa and starred in the film El Callejón de los Milagros for which she was nominated for an Ariel Award. In 1991 Hayek moved to Hollywood and came to prominence with roles in films such as Desperado ,From Dusk till Dawn , Dogma , and Wild Wild West .

He also starred in the comedy Clueless , the biblical television film Jesus , the drama Thirteen , and the horror film Wrong Turn . In 2004, he starred as bigoted baseball player Shane Mungitt in Take Me Out, for which he was nominated for a Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Featured Performance in a Play. In 2006, he starred in the play Festen on Broadway.
