Marvin Gaye was an American singer, songwriter and record producer. Gaye helped to shape the sound of Motown in the 1960s, first as an in-house session player and later as a solo artist with a string of hits, including "Ain't That Peculiar", "How Sweet It Is " and "I Heard It Through the Grapevine", and duet recordings with Mary Wells, Kim Weston, Diana Ross and Tammi Terrell, later earning the titles "Prince of Motown" and "Prince of Soul".

Vanessa Anne Hudgens is an American actress and singer. After making her feature film debut in Thirteen , Hudgens rose to prominence portraying Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical film series, which brought her significant mainstream success. The success of the first film led to Hudgens's acquiring a recording contract with Hollywood Records, with whom she released two studio albums, V and Identified . In addition to High School Musical, Hudgens has also appeared in various films and television series for the Disney Channel.
