Ben Hecht /ˈhɛkt/ was an American screenwriter, director, producer, playwright, journalist, and novelist. A journalist in his youth, he went on to write thirty-five books and some of the most entertaining screenplays and plays in America. He received screen credits, alone or in collaboration, for the stories or screenplays of some seventy films.
Jane Loretta Anne Goldman is an English screenwriter, author and producer. She is mostly known for co-writing, with Matthew Vaughn, the screenplays of Kingsman: The Secret Service and its sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle , based on the comic book series Kingsman created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar, as well as X-Men: First Class , Kick-Ass and Stardust . Goldman also worked on the story of X-Men: Days of Future Past , the sequel to First Class, in partnership with Vaughn. Both met high critical praise for their partnership works.
